Negri R280 Chipper Mulcher

The R280 Chipper mulcher or (bio-shredder) is a middle sized machine, designed specifically for professional users.

150mm diameter maximum and 13 – 18 m³/h capacity.

It’s multiple cutting system is formed by a special rotor with 24 mobile hardened steel hammers, 2 fixed steel blades placed on the edge of the rotor and 2 rotary blades inside the rotor for ejecting the minced material.

The combined action of blades and hammers allows different kind of material to be shred very quickly and is very effective with very fibrous materials such as palm leaves, linden (, etc.) up to a maximum diameter of 15 cm.

The hydraulic feed roller, placed inside the hopper, and with a loading conveyor belt, is adjusted for speed and direction by means of its specific regulator and the rotation of the roller is regulated by the external handle.

The combination of the roller and conveyor belt enables the operator to shred large amounts of material, thus making the loading of small dimension material such as leaves and pruned branches of hedges much easier.

The shredding is controlled by an electronic new generation No-stress device, which automatically adjusts the speed of the roller according to the mulching effort required.

The new No-stress system enables the operator to choose between 2 programs previously set. It is also provided with the SHC system (Saving Hydraulic Coupling) which turns off the engine if the shredding group is obstructed avoiding damage to the transmission.

The cutting system consists of a rotor of 40 mobile reversible hammers of 12 mm thick tempered steel which enables the shredding of every kind of green waste with a maximum diameter of 18 cm. A mobile screen with vertical bars takes care of refining the output.

Options include PTO or trailer versions with Kubota or Lombardini diesel 26.5 hp engines.
